Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using Plants Keeper (식집사, the "Service") provided by Wajangchang Studio, part of Ricecookey (the "Operator"), and the rights and obligations of the Operator and users.

Article 2 (Service Description)

The Service provides photo-based plant status diagnosis, follow-up chat, plant registration and care logging, diary illustration generation, a plant encyclopedia, and community (greenhouse) features. Diagnoses and answers are for reference only and do not guarantee a plant's recovery or any specific outcome.

Article 3 (Use and Accounts)

• The Service can be used without signing in; some features require social sign-in (Google, Apple).
• Users are responsible for managing their own account information and may not share or transfer their account to others.
• Users may delete their account at any time via [Settings → Account → Delete Account].

Article 4 (Usage Limits and Advertising)

• The Service may impose free usage limits (e.g., daily question count, diary illustration generation count).
• On the web (plants-keeper.com), the free limit is fixed and is not raised by signing in or watching ads.
• In the app, users may unlock additional usage by choosing to watch a rewarded ad; the app remains usable at the default limit without watching ads.
• Google AdSense ads may appear on the web, and Google AdMob ads may appear in the app.

Article 5 (User Content and Community)

• Users are responsible for the photos, posts, comments, and other content they submit.
• Users may not post content that infringes others' rights or is unlawful, hateful, spam, or obscene.
• The community provides reporting and blocking features; the Operator may review reported content and remove it or restrict use.
• The Operator may use user content to the extent necessary to provide and promote the Service; copyright remains with the user.

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or generating abnormal traffic through automated means
• Circumventing or abusing usage limits or the ad-reward system
• Collecting or using others' personal information without authorization
• Violating applicable law or these Terms

Article 7 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)

Diagnoses and advice provided by the Service are for reference only; the Operator is not liable for changes in a plant's condition or loss. The Operator is not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or outages of third-party services (OpenAI, Supabase, Google, etc.).

Article 8 (Changes to or Discontinuation of the Service)

The Operator may change or discontinue all or part of the Service; material changes will be announced in advance.

Article 9 (Changes to These Terms)

The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent not in violation of applicable law, and will announce changes on this page. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the change.

Article 10 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes relating to use of the Service are resolved in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
